SUBJECT: No on Prop 8: Yes to love without boundaries
My cousin Doug is a gay police officer who recently returned from a year in Iraq, training security forces. He hopes that we will end that terrible war as soon as we can. But he also has another cause dear to his heart: He has become involved in California’s No on Proposition 8 campaign. Why should he — or anyone — be denied the right to marry whomever he choses?
As Doug puts it, “at its heart, marriage equality is about love without boundaries.”
