PROTESTING
THE
DEPORTATION
OF
CHINESE
STUDENTS
An
Unpublished Letter to Los Angeles Times
If
Congress bows to the pressure from the Bush Administration to
send Chinese students in America back to China against their
will -- even though many have already put their life on the
line in defense of the "goddess" of liberty -- we had best
remember to allocate enough money to send back with each of them
a certified check for 12 cents -- the amount the Chinese
government bills the family of each of the activists it executes
-- the price of a bullet.
