Whether you support him or not, you should take this opportunity to witness a truly history speech. It confronts head-on race and other issues that have divided us and lauds what we can accomplish only if we are truly united as Americans.
Come to think of it, wasn’t that exactly the spirit of patriotism that flourished in the wake of 9/11? We need more of that, every day, not just in times of loss. It is the only way we can gain.
