If Saddam Hussein now claims to be the leader of Islam, he had best remember the teaching of the Prophet that no request for help must ever be refused by the faithful: Allah -- the God of our hostages and the Kuwaitis as well as of the Iraqis -- will ultimately judge the worthiness of the petitioners and reward the merciful.
