A Gift Certificate for an archival quality portrait in oil is a very special way to remember, cherish, or honor family or friends, leaders or colleagues. They'll be creatively involved in the original composition and ultimately receive a personal gift they can treasure forever.

Details of Deposits, Refunds, & SchedulingA Gift Certificate, printed with the names of the proposed subject and client, may be obtained with the payment of a deposit, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the standard Contract, with the exception — to the benefit of the client — that the contract shall be terminated and the deposit, refunded in full if the proposed subject declines the offer of a portrait before reference photography has taken place.
Although this deposit to obtain a Gift Certificate may be nominal (as little as $1), it must be significant (at least 10% of the estimated total fee) to reserve a time for the execution of the painting. Scheduling of commissions is typically on a first-come, first-served basis, although the slow-drying nature of my painting medium allows me to work on more than one painting at a time.
I always work with each client to accommodate as best I can any special circumstances: I want nothing more than this creative experience to be pleasant and rewarding for all concerned.
